New to SEO for Shopify – the popular Yoast plugin is available on the platform to enhance its content optimization functionality.
Yoast SEO is one of the most well-known applications in the SEO world that helps optimize websites. Until now, the solution was only available for the WordPress system. Since January, it is also possible to do SEO optimization in Shopify using it. Similar to the WordPress version, Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants will be able to use it to optimize products and posts to show up in organic results.

The SEO app is mainly dedicated to small and medium-sized businesses. With Yoast, it is possible to analyze SEO more accurately and optimize the sub-page for the main keyword phrase. The plugin will also apply automatic structured data based on the information entered during installation. Yoast will allow to optimize pages to be SEO friendly, as a result, to show up in organic results. The capabilities that Shopify and Shopify Plus users will enjoy also include control over titles and descriptions in Google search and social media, and access to readability reviews. The cost of the plugin for Shopify is $29 for 30 days (after a free trial period of 14 days).
