Betano tops the Blask ranking for betting and online casino interest in Brazil

Betano became the No. 1 brand by user interest in Brazil’s betting and online casino market. This result is recorded in Blask’s two-year index as of February 2026. The ranking measures neither revenue nor sign-ups, but overall audience attention and its intent to engage with operators.
Regulation is reshaping the market and fueling demand for licensed operators
Brazil is undergoing a major transformation: instead of the previous grey-market model, a regulated iGaming market is taking shape with clear licensing requirements. The transition period has intensified competition, because operators are now competing for audience attention that actively seeks out legal, licensed sites.
As the new rules take hold, search demand for licensed brands has grown noticeably. It is precisely in this formative phase that the market determines which names will stick in players’ minds and which will remain on the periphery.
How the ranking was calculated
The data source was the Blask platform, which builds a user interest index based on monthly activity and attributed search signals. The observation period ran from January 2024 to February 2026. The sample includes ten leading betting and casino brands that reflect the momentum of Brazil’s market transition from an unregulated model to a licensed one.
Why football and mobile casino are the key drivers in Brazil
Football remains the main driver of brand awareness for sportsbook brands. Sponsorship deals with clubs, visibility during broadcasts, and a strong in-play betting offering turn matches into a gateway for new players. An operator that is visible in the stadium and on air earns a level of trust that is hard to gain through advertising alone.
At the same time, mobile casino formats generate steady, recurring demand and help retain users between sporting events. Slots, “crash” games, and other quick-play formats align well with the habits of Brazilian users, who spend a significant share of their online time on smartphones. Various live casino games are also highly popular. According to icefishing-game.com, over the past few months Ice Fishing has increasingly ranked among the top titles by user interest. Digital versions of classic roulette, blackjack, or poker are also enjoying similar success. And all these games are also most often played on mobile devices.
The interest ranking and how to interpret it
Below, brands are grouped by trend: leaders, fast growers, stable players, niche brands, or decliners. Within each group, brands are listed in their ranking order. This is a comparison of interest and intent to engage, not companies’ financial performance.
Leaders by audience interest
Betano tops the ranking. The brand expanded quickly from early 2024 thanks to an aggressive football sponsorship strategy, deep content localization, and a user-friendly mobile experience. Consistently high interest has secured Betano’s status as a “default brand” for a significant share of the audience.
Bet365 posts one of the strongest results in the ranking. Its global reputation, a broad in-play betting lineup, and a powerful casino portfolio create a strong moat against local competitors. Promotions and the product are tailored to the Brazilian market, and interest remains consistently high.
Fast-growing challengers
Superbet made the biggest leap since 2024 and is closing in on the top tier. Active expansion of its presence in the regulated market and strengthening its combined “sportsbook + casino” proposition are confirmed by a pronounced rise in search interest.
7Games is on an upward trajectory by strengthening its casino offering. Search indicators show growing brand awareness among Brazilian players.
Stable players and a solid mid-pack
- Sportingbet maintains a confident level of interest as a “proven option” for betting and casino, with a steady trend and no sharp spikes.
- Esportes da Sorte holds a strong position among local brands thanks to high visibility and strong fan-driven demand.
- Betnacional relies on local loyalty and the image of a “homegrown” brand, showing consistently mid-to-high interest.
- EstrelaBet is seen as a reliable alternative and shows consistent interest throughout the entire observation period.
- Vaidebet sits mid-table with notable volatility, pointing to “windows of opportunity” to strengthen its position.
Niche players with fading momentum
Blaze has lost some of its earlier momentum, but retains a loyal audience around specific casino-related searches, including “crash” games and slots.
The market is getting more crowded, but local brands aren’t disappearing
Competition between global and local operators is intensifying. At the same time, local brands retain a noticeable share of attention, and the top of the ranking forms the “first tier” in awareness and intent to play.
What will drive further growth
As regulation stabilizes, a shift in interest toward licensed platforms will continue. Internet penetration in Brazil already exceeds 85%, and the trend points to near-universal access by the end of the decade. Mobile-first usage expands the potential player base month by month.
