When implementing our store on Shopify, we paid close attention to choosing the right product management system. Akeneo was recommended to us, and we believe it was a very good decision. The tool is easy and intuitive to use. It helps us create and expand our product catalog. It allows us to present products in an attractive way and update product pages across both of our sales channels. The system runs very quickly. It speeds up the preparation of product pages and also allows us to make global changes to our product offerings. The ability to filter by category trees is also important to us. This helps us identify potential errors in the data and update them quickly. What we believe needs improvement is the ability to edit the order of product photos and the ability to create cross-links between complementary products. The process of implementing Akeneo in our company began with training on the tool’s functionality and operation; currently, it is primarily our eCommerce team that works with it. I believe the decision to choose Akeneo was the right one, and I can recommend it to businesses like ours.

The first step is to identify the company’s needs. We always start with a consultation; a mini-audit lasting just a few hours is enough to determine whether implementing a PIM environment is necessary. During a meeting or video conference, our experts will assess the needs of the company planning to implement a Product Information Management system. | ![]() |

The third step is to prepare the server environment on AWS or another platform specified by the client. The server environment is configured to support the latest version of the Akeneo software. We then install Akeneo. | ![]() |
